Leading aircraft charter provider, Air Charter Service, has increased the size and experience of its Airline Sales division by welcoming Daniel Parker as manager of the company’s London Operations Control Centre, which provides 24 hour support for airlines facing AOG situations.
Ian Welsh, Operations and Airline Sales Manager at ACS, commented: “We’re delighted to welcome Daniel on board. He brings a wealth of experience having previously worked for the OCS Group as Duty Operations Manager for Virgin Atlantic at Heathrow and at TAG Farnborough Airport as VIP Customer Service Officer, and is certain to improve the team.
“Our Airline Sales team manages all aspects of AOG situations, whether that is ACMI agreements, cargo requirements to move parts, private jets for crew members or small but urgent handheld parcels that our onboard courier team can transport. Daniel’s day to day role will be managing the 24 hours operations team in London, complementing the operations team in our New York office.
Air Charter Service’s Airline Sales team arranged 55% more charters in 2016 than the previous year and is one of the company’s fastest growing departments.
