Air Charter Service has launched a new multiplatform mobile phone application allowing users instant access to current private jet charter prices worldwide.
Group Executive Jets Director, Ruan Courtney, explains: “We think it will be particularly useful for people that are always on the move or for those stuck at airports because their scheduled flight has been cancelled, which will be more common during the winter months. It also gives us a platform to build other mobile customer service features in the future.
“The app allows customers to search for charter prices by inputting departure and destination airports, dates and times, as well as number of seats required. The custom built app has been in development for some time and we wanted to ensure that, unlike most other private aviation apps on the market, it functions across iPhone, BlackBerry and Android handsets so that it is available to as many of our customers as possible. The app has an added benefit for iPhone and Android users, in that the phone’s GPS will locate the airports closest to you. Once you have an idea of what you are looking for, you are able to directly call any of our 17 worldwide offices directly from the app to speak to one of our account managers.”
