Propeller aircraft chartered to Jets game!
Air Charter Service's New York office recently helped a serious football fan make it to a Jets game on time. 
The passenger was held up near his home in Montauk, and so would not have made it if he had had to drive, as previously intended. So, on the day of the game, he called ACS to see if they were able to arrange a charter into Teterboro, just a few miles from the Jets' New Meadowlands Stadium.
Andy Christie, executive jet sales manager ACS New York, explains: "The customer called up early on Saturday afternoon asking if we thought it was possible for him to make the game. We said that we knew of the perfect aircraft already at Montauk airport and, if he could get there quickly, he would be in with a chance. When he got to the airport we had already prepared the KingAir 90 for take-off. After the short forty minute flight he touched down in Teterboro, which is less than four miles from New Meadowlands.
"He made it to the game with 15 minutes to spare, and was delighted that we were able to get him there so quickly on a Saturday. Just to top it off, the Jets won!"
