Charter Sales Broker, Cargo - London Office

Air Charter Service is seeking to recruit a trainee to work in our Cargo Charter Sales division based at our headquarters in Kingston Upon Thames, Surrey. U.K.

You will be responsible for providing a highly specialised service arranging aircraft charter on behalf of our client portfolio. You will be responsible for both maintaining and building our exclusive client database.

Job specification:
• Working to achieve your targets within a team.
• Generating enquiries and working them through to a conclusion.
• Generation of sales from new leads.
• Following up sales calls to convert potential contacts to clients and providing them with the best aircraft solution

Requirements:
• Proven track record in a sales role
• Positive telephone manner and computer literate
• Excellent organisational skills including being able to work efficiently and accurately
• Highly motivated and target driven, outgoing, adaptable and bubbly personality
• Interest in or knowledge of aircraft and aircraft charter operations or an aviation related qualification would be an advantage

• Fluency in Italian/French/German very desirable.

Flight Operations Controller - East Midlands Airport

Air Charter Service is one of the worlds leading Charter Brokerage Houses offering talented and motivated people an opportunity to reach their full potential in a dynamic and rapidly growing company.

Due to continued success we have seen rapid expansion of our Managed Fleet leading to a vacancy for a full time Flight Operations Controller based at East Midlands Airport.

Key responsibilities:
• Setting up and coordinating various Ad Hoc Flights
• Flight planning, watching and crew rostering
• Arranging handling, fuel, Hotac, liaising with all parties to ensure all flights fly on-time
• Maintaining rosters to ensure that all flights are properly crewed and fully conform to CAA regulations
• Supporting the Operations Manager, Sales department and Head Office in other tasks as required

Ideal Knowledge and Experience:
• Solid experience in an Aviation related environment

• Working knowledge of flight planning, Sita, FTL’s, weather charts
• Should be well organized, be able to work well under pressure and have the ability to work on their own initiative with minimal supervision where necessary
• Language skills an advantage but not essential

On the job training will be given on all Operations specific software as well as familiarisation with all other aspects of our operations department.
