The Cirrus Vision SF50 is a seven-seat; single engined light business jet manufactured by the Cirrus Design Corporation (CDC). The Vision SF50 is intended for the personal use market and features a large belly section, an X Tail and a low wing monoplane design powered by a single Williams FJ33-4A-19 Engine producing 1,900lb of thrust. Vision SF50 is expected to cruise at about 350mph with a target range of 2,037 km and fly at a maximum altitude of 28,000 ft. Take-off and landing distance of the aircraft are 492m and 379m.

The planning of Cirrus Vision SF50 began in 2000 with the requirement of a light personal jet designed to fill a significant niche between the piston single and twin and a very light jet aimed at the single pilot market. Initial design started in 2006 with first flight taking place in July 2008 with an expected entry into service in 2012. Vision SF50 is constructed with carbon fibre composite materials and can operate both during day and night and fly through hostile environments. The aircraft sports a retractable landing gear, Cirrus airframe parachute system (CAPS), low complexity flap system, an ice protection system, onboard oxygen generating system, a satellite phone, a lightning detection and a ski tube.

The single piece carbon shell cabin contains an all digital flight deck and capable of seating up to six passengers in an abreast configuration with an optional seat between the second and third row and provisions for an optional lavatory. The cabin also features reclining seats, Vapor Cycle Air Conditioning (with ground power operation), tinted windows, and a two piece lower airstair clamshell door. Passengers are able to place their luggage in the 0.88m3 baggage compartment aft fuselage section.
