Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport is a public international airport located in Hebron, Boone County, Kentucky. It covers an area of 8,000 acres and has four runways in use, as well as three terminals.
Development began in February 1942 after President Franklin D. Roosevelt approved funds for the airport to be built as part of the U.S. Army Air Corps program to establish training facilities during World War II.
