It is the designated reliever to Cleveland Hopkins International Airport and was named for former Cleveland mayor and U.S. senator Thomas A. Burke. The facility possesses two runways and covers a medium amount of land at 450 acres. It has two fixed-base operators on the ground and carries out an average of 264 flights per day, which makes it one of the busier airports in the county.
