Currituck County Regional Airport is a county owned, public use airport in Currituck County, North Carolina. It was previously known as Currituck County Airport or Currituck Regional Airport. The airport was constructed built by the United States Army Air Forces about 1942, and was known as Barco Flight Strip. It was closed after World War II, and was turned over for local government use by the War Assets Administration. After that the Currituck County took over the airport operations.
