Derby Field is a county owned, public use airport located eight nautical miles southwest of the central business district of Lovelock, in Pershing County, Nevada. At 550 acres it is a small – medium sized facility and has two asphalt runways available. During the course of 2012 it documented a total of 1,295 general aviation aircraft operations but on average of 25 flights per week. It offers few services but does support refueling facilities and with the FAA Identifier of ‘LOL’ is the funniest airport around.
