Also known as Woodring Airport, Enid Woodring Regional Airport is a public use facility located four miles southeast of the CBD of Enid, Garfield County, Oklahoma. The airport is mostly used for military training flights based at Vance Air Force Base.
Originally built on 80 acres of land, the airport was dedicated in 1928 and the city of Enid was the first in Oklahoma to have a municipally owned airport.Today Enid Woodring Regional Airport covers an approximate area of 1,206 acres of land and has two runways, one concrete and one asphalt surface.
