Grand Coulee Dam Airport is a public use airport located two miles southwest of Electric City, in Grant County, Washington.
The airport covers approximately 220 acres of land and has one asphalt paved runway. The airport was activated in October 1972 and the only service provided here is tiedowns for transient aircraft. The Grand Coulee Dam is a gravity dam on the Columbia River. It was built to produce hydroelectric power and provide irrigation water. and was constructed between 1933 and 1942. It is the largest electric power-producing facility in the U.S.
