Known as Broom County Airport in the 1970’s it was renamed to honor the inventor or the aircraft instrument simulator, and became the Edwin A. Link Field-Broome County Airport. It’s final name change occurred in 2003, when it was renamed Greater Binghamton Airport. Greater Binghamton covers a total area of 1,199 acres of land and has two asphalt runways.
