Greater Kankakee Airport is located three miles south of the CBD of Kankakee, Kankakee County, Illinois. It is public service facility owned by Kankakee Valley Airport Authority.
Covering an area of 950 acres, with two asphalt runways, the airport was opened in 1962 and operates as a general aviation facility for the Kankakee area and South Chicago.
