GULFPORT–BILOXI INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT
Gulfport–Biloxi International Airport is a combined civil and military public-use airport located just over three miles north east of the central business district of the City of Gulfport, in Harrison County, Mississippi. According to the National Plan of Integrated Airport Systems for 2011–2015, the airport is categorized as a primary commercial service airport, due to it having more than 10,000 enplanements per year. The airport was constructed in 1942 by the United States Army Air Forces as a training base for Air Corps Flying Training Command.
