Juneau International Airport is a city owned, public use airport and seaplane base located seven nautical miles northwest of the central business district of Juneau, a city and borough in the U.S. state of Alaska. The airport is 653 acres and has one asphalt runway, listed as being in good condition, as well as a water runway. It carries out an average of 270 flights per day, most of which are air taxis, and bases around 325 aircraft. It offers several services such as refueling, buoy and hangars and major airframe repairs.
