It is a public use airport owned by Wallkill Airpark, Inc. and is located three nautical miles north east of the central business district of Wallkill. According to the National Plan of Integrated Airport Systems for 2011–2015, the airport is listed as a general aviation facility. The airport covers an area of 125 acres and has one asphalt runway. For the operational period between July 2010 and July 2011 the airport handled an average of 41 aviation operations a day.
