LOGAN CACHE AIRPORT
Logan Cache Airport is three miles northwest of Logan in Cache County, Utah. The town was founded in 1859 by Mormon settlers. They named their new community "Logan" for Ephraim Logan, an early fur trapper in the area. Today Logan has a small population of less than 50 000 residents. It is the county seat of Cache County and the principle City of the Logan, UT-ID Metropolitan Statistical Area. The City is one the edge of the Bear River Mountains, and has a humid climate, with rainfall being heaviest in spring.
