Northwest Alabama Regional Airport is a public airport located one mile east of Muscle Shoals, Colbert County, Alabama. Scheduled passenger service is supplied by SeaPort Airlines which flies to Nashville.
The airport covers approximately 640 acres of land and has two asphalt paved runways. It opened in February 1940 but was taken over by the U.S. Army Air Forces in during World War II as a pilot training facility. Shoals Flight Centre is the FBO here and offers aviation fuel, aircraft parking, aircraft maintenance, passenger terminal and pilot’s lounge.
