OUTAGAMIE COUNTY REGIONAL AIRPORT
This is the fourth busiest commercial airport in Wisconsin, located just west of Appleton, in the town of Greenville.
The original home of Midwest Airlines, it is now the main base of the privately owned regional airline Air Wisconsin. The airport covers an area of 1 638 acres and was opened with one runway in 1965. Before that, Appleton’s airport was George A Whiting Field, located 3 miles south of the town, dating back to 1933.
