The Robert Newlon airport falls under the public ownership of the Cabell County Commission and is situated just over 6 miles north east of the town of Huntington, in Cabell County, West Virginia. The Airport was first activated in February 1972 and offers tie down parking as well as refueling (by prior arrangement). There is a campground adjacent to the airfield where sky diving classes and activities are offered.
