SAFFORD REGIONAL AIRPORT
Safford Regional Airport was originally constructed as a World War II military auxiliary field but over time was leased to the City of Safford, and today covers 630 acres of land. The airport carries out around 8,690 aircraft operations per annum or 23 per day with military traffic making up just under 10%. Today the airport is classified for general public use and is notable as the only paved airport in Graham County.
