Private Jet Charter to Spanish Peaks Airfield

The Spanish Peaks Airfield was first activated in March 1949. It is a public access facility which falls under the public ownership of the county of Huerfano. The airport is located 5 miles north of the town of Walsenburg in Huerfano county, Colorado. According to the FAA's records for the 12 month period which ended in December 2012 the airport handled an average of 67 aviation operations per week. All of these were for general aviation. During the same period there were 14 aircraft based on the field, 13 of which were single engine aircraft and one multi-engine aircraft.
