The Johnston County Airport is a publicly owned airport located in Johnston, North Carolina. The airport is operated by the Johnson County Airport Authority. The airport services include aircraft ground handling, aircraft parking (either ramp or tie down), hangers and hanger leasing, a passenger terminal and a lounge. The airport has a fair amount of traffic with approximately 200 aircraft operations a day, for the year ending 18 June 2014. Most of the traffic was for general aviation and 1% of the traffic was military related.
