The Wilmington Air Park Airport is owned by the Clinton County Port Authority is can be found two nautical miles south east of the Wilmington central business district in Clinton, Ohio. The airport used to be known as the Clinton County Air Force Base. The airport first opened in 1929. IN 1940 the the Civil Aeronautics Authority took control of the airport until it was decommissioned in 1972. After it was decommissioned the airport became the Wilmington Industrial Air Park as well the the Greta Oaks Joint Vocation School.
