The Wynne Municipal Airport was first activated in May 1965. It is a public access airport, as it is publicly owned by the City of Wynne in Cross, Arkansas. The airport does not have a control tower, but does offer tie down parking as well as major airframe servicing and major powerplant servicing. The airport can be found one mile north east of the Wynne. This facility deals with an average amount of aviation traffic; for the 12 month period ending in June 2013 the airport handled an average of 57 aviation operations per week.
