The city of Douglas is found within the borders of Converse County, in the US state of Wyoming. The city hosts the popular Wyoming State Fair, while the North Platter River runs through the city.
The city is renowned for its rich American horse culture, and is also the hometown of the man attributed with creating the jackalope legend (a mythical jack rabbit with antelope antlers).
