Montana lies in the west of the United States of America, and although it is in the top five largest states (fourth), it is one of the least populated. Montana is surrounded by North and South Dakota, Wyoming and Idaho. The largest city in the state is Billings, which earned the nickname 'the Magic City' due to the speed at which it grew once becoming a railroad town. Montana is a state that offers immense scenic beauty, including a chance to see part of the Rocky Mountains - and is popularly referred to as Big Sky Country.
