Flying film crews to the Australian Outback
A travel agency asked us to arrange three flights flying film crews from Sydney to the Australian Outback in April and May 2022. With an ever-changing brief and limited aircraft available that could carry each large group to the remote location, a fully flexible solution was needed to ensure the charters ran smoothly.
Our Solution
Route: Sydney > Broken Hill
Aircraft: British Aerospace 146 and Bombardier Dash-8 Q400
The client’s filming schedule changed regularly, resulting in several revisions of the passenger lists and flight dates.
Varying aircraft availability meant we couldn’t use the same aircraft for every journey, so we chartered a business class airliner and an economy class turboprop that could comfortably accommodate the groups of around 150 passengers on different dates.
