We were contacted after a husband-to-be asked the travel agent he’d arranged his honeymoon with to add an extra week to its duration, without telling his wife, and organise a private jet tour of India
SOLUTION
We recommended flying into New Delhi via scheduled services and then created a week-long itinerary trying to include as many of the destinations mentioned as possible, whilst still giving them enough time to enjoy each location. We worked with the travel agent to accommodate all the tours and experiences they had organised and liaised with their ground transportation to ensure the aircraft was ready to go as soon as the clients arrived. After a first night in New Delhi the itinerary took in the majesty of the Taj Mahal, the pink city of Jaipur, buzzing Mumbai, beachy Kochi, the tiger sanctuary at Periyar and finished with an overnight cruise of the backwaters of Kerala. We then organised a last hop from Kerala to the Maldives, landing in Male where the travel agent then picked up the itinerary.
THE FINER DETAILS
FLIGHT REPRESENTATION: We had a representative from our office in Mumbai travelling alongside them until they departed Kerala to ensure everything ran smoothly
CATERING: We provided local delicacies but also had plenty of Champagne on hand; it was their honeymoon after all.
