When English rapper Stormzy wanted to celebrate his 25th birthday in style, The Platinum Car Company came to us on his behalf to book a jet capable of flying 265 passengers to Mahon from Stansted and then back again that night.
OUR SOLUTION
Upon the request we immediately went out in search of an aircraft large enough to carry all of the passengers, plus have the additional space necessary, and be able to be transformed into ‘Merky Airways’. We sourced a Boeing B767 with Titan Airways as not only did it meet the space and seating criteria, but also their aircraft don’t have heavily branded exteriors, allowing ‘Merky Airways’ to take centre stage. Because all of the ground transportation had been pre-booked, we had to fit in with their predetermined schedule and ensure everything ran smoothly. Even though a couple of passengers misplaced their passports, we were able to get everyone through customs on time for the party, and all back again later that same day.

A TAILORED TRIP
For the inside of the aircraft we supplied branded coasters, headrest covers and cups, and also helped with ‘Merky Airways’ goody bags which included branded t-shirts, towels, sun cream and sunglasses.
