Arroyo Seco Weekend: June 24-25

Our summer festival guide for 2018 kicks off with the Arroyo Seco Weekend, which takes place on Saturday, June 24 and Sunday, June 25 at the Brookside Golf & Country Club in Pasadena, Texas. With an exciting lineup of big names, such as Neil Young and Promise of the Real, Jack White, The Pretenders, Live, Kings of Leon, Mumford & Sons, Weezer, Alanis Morissette, Third Eye Blind and The Bangles, the Arroyo Seco Weekend promises to be an unforgettable event. Rock Fest Wisconsin: July 12-14

Windy City Smokeout: July 14-16

This relatively new annual event is all about watching hot country acts while feasting on smoked meats prepared by some of the country’s best pitmasters. This year, some of the biggest names out of Nashville will light up the stage, including Jessie James Decker, Chase Rice, Old Dominion, Billy Currington, Big Rich and Corey Smith. Panorama: July 27-29

Panorama is set to be one of the best music festivals of 2018. Expect a whole new level of entertainment this year, with world-class talents such as Janet Jackson and The Killers. Island Park in New York hosts this coveted event during the last weekend of July, where crowds are wowed with two entertainment areas: The Lab, an interactive experience combining experiential digital art and a 360-degree virtual reality theatre; and The Point, an open-air shaded dance party with continuous house and techno music.

Newport Jazz Festival: August 3-5

Held in the grounds of Fort Adams State Park in Rhode Island, Newport Jazz Festival has been breaking ground in the live music arena since the mid-’50s. This year the legendary summer festival has a star-studded lineup, with performances from jazz stars including Sangam with Zakir Hussain and Eric Harland, Rudresh Mahanthappa Indo-Pak Coalition, Michel Camilo and Artemis. AFROPUNK Fest: August 25-26

One of the world's most famous cultural movements, AFROPUNK attracts up to 60,000 people to Brooklyn, New York every August. Headliners include Erykah Badu, Miguel and Tyler the Creator, with tickets available from the official website.

River City Rockfest: September 22
