Air Charter Service’s Canadian operation is enjoying a fruitful 2016, reporting that business is up more than 30% year on year. The company, which is one of the leading aircraft charter specialists, arranges charter flights on helicopters, private aircraft and cargo aircraft, with 20 offices around the world.

Gary Hopkins, Managing Director of ACS Toronto, comments: “Charter contract numbers have grown across all three of our divisions; private jets, larger passenger airliners and cargo aircraft. Our private jet division is really flourishing and is almost 30% up year on year and, by the middle of September, we had already signed more contracts than we did in the whole of 2014. This has no doubt been aided by the development of www.aircharterservice.ca to include an instant price estimating tool.

“By the end of August, we had already surpassed the number of group passenger aircraft charters that we did in the whole of 2015 in what is our fastest growing division. We typically do a lot of personnel logistics for oil, gas and mining companies, as well as incentive trips and sports travel. We have also experienced more than 25% growth on the cargo side of the business, with many interesting payloads, including rushing relief goods to the victims of the earthquake in Ecuador back in April.

“We have added a few new faces this year and are well on course for what will be our record year since we opened ACS Canada in 2010, and I am delighted by all of the team’s efforts.”
