ANDERSON REGIONAL AIRPORT

Anderson Regional Airport is a public use facility located 3 miles west of Anderson, Anderson County, South Carolina.

The airport covers approximately 704 acres of land and has two runways and two helipads. It first opened in September 1937 and later was used during World War II as an auxiliary airfield for the U.S. Army Air Forces to support their combat flight training at Greenville Army Base.
