Artesia Municipal Airport is a public use, city-owned facility located three miles west of the CBD of Artesia, Eddy County, New Mexico.

The airport was used during 1943 - 1944 by the U.S. Army Air Forces as a contract glider training airfield, provided by Big Spring Flying Service. In 1945 it was declared surplus and returned to being a civilian airport. It covers an area of 1,440 acres and hans two asphalt runways.
