Astronaut Kent Rominger Airport is located three miles north of Del Norte, a city in Rio Grande County, in the state of Colorado. It is a public use airport, publicly owned by the Rio Grande County. The airport was opened in May 1947 and has no control tower. It features two runways, one with an asphalt surface in good condition and another turf runway in poor condition.
