Central Nebraska Regional Airport is three miles northeast of Grand Island, in Hall County, Nebraska. It is owned by the Hall County Airport Authority. The facility was originally known as Grand Island Army Airfield. Today about a dozen military buildings remain there including several hangars. At 1,847 acres it is a large facility with concrete runways in service which are listed as being in excellent condition. It conducts an average of 74 flights per day and bases around 45 aircraft. Services such as refueling, hangar storage and major airframe repairs are on offer.
