Henderson City County Airport is located four miles west of Henderson’s central business district, in Henderson County, in the state of Kentucky. It is a public use airport, publicly owned by the Henderson city and county airport board. The airport was opened in October 1946 and has no control tower. It covers an area of 80 acres (32 hectare) and features one asphalt runway, which is in good condition.
