DESTINATION GUIDE

LIHUE AIRPORT

LIHUE AIRPORT is a state-owned, public-use airport located in the Līhuʻe CDP on the southeast coast of the island of Kauaʻi and as such, is not close to any particular city. Likewise it does not serve as a hub for any airline carrier. It is, however, the primary airport on the Island of Kauai, and has several rental car facilities. Despite being on a small island it is a large facility, covering around 879 acres and hosting two large runways. Lihue Airport carries out around 285 flights per day. The Kauaʻi Bus route 70 connects the airport to downtown Lihue
