Private Jet Charter to Major Gilbert Airport

The Major Gilbert Field has been permanently closed. It was a public airport owned by Rio Aero Club, Inc. The facility is located one mile west of the Rio central business district in Columbia County, Wisconsin. The airport covers an area of 42 acres and is at an elevation of 925 feet above mean sea level. The airport was not very busy, dealing with a n average of only 15 aviation operations a day for the year ending in August 2005.
