The Sig Field Airport is a public access facility which is privately owned by Hazel Sig-Hester. The airport does not deal with a high volume of aviation traffic. For the 12 month period which ended on September 11, 2013, the airport had handled approximately 42 aviation operations per month. 50% of these operations was for the transient general aviation and the other 50% was for local general aviation. The airport is located 3 miles south of Montezuma in Poweshiek, Iowa.
