The Washington County Memorial Airport is a public access facility which was first opened in January of 1980. The airport is publicly owned by Washington County and is located 5 miles south of the town of Washington in Kansas. The airport offer tie down parking and its primary runway is a 3400 foot long concrete runway, in good condition with the designation 17/35. During the one year period which ended on 17 September 2015, the airport handled an average of 33 aviation operations per week.
