The Whitefish Airport has a 780m turf runway with the designation 11/29. The airport is publicly owned and operated by the Flathead Municipal Airport Authority. For the year ending in July 2013, the airport had an average of 42 aircraft operations a month. Due to the airport not offering snow removal services, the airport is closed from the 1st of November until the 30th of May every year. The airport offers free bicycle use for the airport.
